Want to submit a thing? Awesome! We have a few guidelines to help you hone your submission into something that maximises its potential for CALC Quarterly:
- We accept all forms of works (written, visual, video, audio etc.), we just need it in a format that we can host directly.
- Try to keep written work to no more than 1500 words.
- Try to keep any video or audio content to no more than an hour in length.
- If you are using images, please ensure they have alt text.
- Ask a friend to review your submission to make sure it makes sense to someone who isn’t you – we might have to ask you clarification questions otherwise.
- Ensure you cite your references clearly and give credit where it is due.
- Triple check that you are writing about something that can be shared publicly and isn’t sensitive (commercially or personally).
- If possible, all submissions should be in the English language but reach out if you work better in a different language.
We’re experimenting with CALC Quarterly so are open to feedback, suggestions, folks volunteering their time, and much more. So let’s make this a conversation!
All submissions and queries can be sent to George Cronin (the editor) at: calcquarterly[at]gmail.com.
